Daisy's First Birthday

Well, today has been a big day and we're all tired. Daisy turned 1!! She has been so adorable today. We went to Mother's Group this morning and Tardy baked Banana and Yoghurt muffins. All the little kids sang happy birthday and they all wanted to blow out the candles at the same time! We had a very quiet afternoon, we went for a big drive from Wanguri to Casurina Beach to Lee Point! Everyone fell asleep, as you may have guessed. Tonight, I'm feeling a little bit homesick though. I'll get over it though, I am surrounded with people that love me to bits and I can sleep easy knowing my parents love me to the moon and back. Xx

First Day In Darwin

Well, I'm in Darwin and missing you lots. I'm absolutely exhausted from a huge day flying and the heat. It is fun though. Before, the girls were climbing on me while I was lying down and giving me lost of hugs and kisses. It was gorgeous. I was feeling a bit under the weather especially then and that really cheered me up. We had spaghetti bolognese for dinner and Daisy was gobbling it up like it was the last thing she ever would eat (which, of course it wouldn't be because two minutes later she had yoghurt and berries). Then, it was bath and storytime/bedtime. This is a short post, not much happened today, but I will be back tomorrow.
