Back to It

As you know, today was the first day back at school. Things weren't really that different though. Periods 1&2 - Home Class, Period 3 - Language, Recess, Period 4 - Language and then Home Class for the rest of the day. Something that was a bit different was the introduction to our new unit of work for Term 4. It's general term is Open Spaces but really we get to create and build an island! I can't wait! Another big change is all the anticipation for the Japanese play (Momo Taro). Min has made the most amazing costume for me (it's pictured below). She went to every little detail including the exact colour of the jacket! If you're reading this Min, thank you so much, you are honestly the best grandmother in the world. Anyway, I've learnt all my lines for the play (thank God) and everything is going smoothly. Even Mr. Ackerman has calmed down a bit (but only a bit. He still shouts alot...). Just before I go, Min and I made the most delicious Thai chicken tonight with Asian beans and rice. They were truly indescribable.
Right now, Min is sitting writing you an email (her voice auto-correct keeps saying all of the changes she wants to make), Dad is putting Jed to sleep and I think Pop is watching the footy.
