I know I said this yesterday but, wow! Today was a great day! To start it off dad and I went to the Sakura (さくら)gardens and there were the most beautiful gardens there! いいです! Also, after that we went to the old POW (prisoner of war - I called it pow - pronunciation pau) camp where they still had some of the old burnt down buildings and a replica of a watchtower, made complete with audio commentary. Later, Dad, Jed and I went fishing for yabbies in Tony's little dam. We were there for about two hours and we didn't catch anything and then Tony came with his special net and caught HEAPS in two seconds! We told a bit of a white lie and said that we caught all of the yabbies by ourselves! Anyway, later we boiled them and put vinegar and pepper on them. They were delicious!
The photos that we took of fishing the yabbies aren't sending to the computer properly but I do have some of the Japanese gardens and the cooked yabbies (they're below if you didn't notice). We'll probably have the photos of yabby fishing tomorrow...
Only a week til' you come back! When you do come back I bet we'll love each other even more.
Cause' we can't hug I can only say:
I love you to the moon and back ;)
A traditional Japanese Edo house. Photo not that good...

Enjoying the sunshine...
The only place outside of Japan where ANYONE (including ten year old boys learning Japanese) can stand under a traditional Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom) tree...

Oh, I forgot to tell you we were going past Sally and David's and John and Jules were there so Dad and I both had a cuddle. Awww... There is a funny story that happened after this: read on to find out more!

Yabbies with vinegar and salt and pepper, yabbies with vinegar and salt and pepper ;)

***FUNNY STORY ALERT***
We were driving back from Sally and David's and I had given Jules my phone number (so she could send me a photo and so I could get her email address to email her my film clip - EVERYONE wants to see it) and I texted her and said: "What is your email address so I can email you the prostitute" (of course, auto-correct did this)!!! I meant to write photo, but I actually didn't - I mean't to write video (sorry, that didn't make much sense)... It was quite hilarious!
Love the post. Thanks so much. I can picture all those adventures and funny times.
